Astralis Privacy Policy

1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy describes what data the Astralis application collects, how it is used, stored, and protected.

By using the Astralis application or website, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree with any provisions, please do not use our application.

2. Age Restrictions

The application is intended for users aged 16 and older. We consciously do not collect personal data from persons under 16 (or under 13 in the USA in accordance with COPPA).

If you are a parent or guardian and have discovered that your child has provided us with their data without your consent, please contact us at info@astralis.global, and we will immediately delete this data.

If you have not reached the specified age, you are not authorized to use this application.

3. What Data We Collect

3.1. User-Provided Data

To operate the application, we request:

• date of birth;
• time of birth (if specified);
• place of birth (city or town, without exact GPS coordinates);
• gender.

This data is used exclusively for calculating natal charts, astrological interpretations, and forecasts.

3.2. Profile Data

When registering via Apple ID or Google, we receive:

• unique user identifier (UID);
• name and email address (if you allow their transfer; when using Sign in with Apple, the Hide My Email function is supported);
• registration date, settings, and saved profiles.

3.3. Technical and Analytical Data

We use analytical tools (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Sentry, Amplitude) to collect anonymized statistics, including:

• device type and operating system;
• interface language;
• device time zone (for correct display of daily forecasts);
• time and frequency of use;
• crash and error data.

This information helps improve the stability and quality of the application. We do not use it to identify specific users.

3.4. Geolocation

The application DOES NOT collect data about your current location in real time and does not request access to GPS coordinates of the device.

For astrological calculations, only the place of birth is used, which you enter manually (city or town). The application converts the entered place name into geographic coordinates using the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoding service exclusively for astrological calculations.

4. How We Use Data

Collected data is used for:

• providing personalized astrological calculations and interpretations;
• generating AI interpretations using OpenAI API (data is transmitted encrypted and is not used for training models);
• profile synchronization between devices;
• analyzing application performance and improving it;
• communicating with the user (for example, regarding support or updates).

We do not sell your data and do not transfer it to third parties for advertising.

5. Data Storage and Protection

All personal user data is stored on secure Tencent Cloud servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union). Access to data is strictly limited and is only possible for technical maintenance. We apply modern encryption methods (TLS/SSL) and protection against unauthorized access.

Some data is processed in the USA through third-party services (for example, OpenAI API for generating AI interpretations, Firebase Analytics). Such processing is carried out in accordance with GDPR requirements, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and other data protection guarantees.

6. Data Retention Period

We store your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time through the Settings section in the application — and all personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. User Rights

Users located in the European Union have rights provided by GDPR:

• right to access their data;
• right to correction or update;
• right to deletion (right to be forgotten);
• right to restrict processing;
• right to data portability;
• right to object to processing.

Users from California (USA) have rights under CCPA/CPRA:

• request what data is collected and to whom it is transferred;
• demand data deletion;
• opt out of data transfer to third parties;
• not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

8. Cookies and Web Version

Cookies may be used in the Astralis web version: for authorization through Apple/Google; for remembering user settings; for traffic analysis and interface improvement. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may limit the site's functionality.

9. AI Features and Automated Processing

Astralis uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI API) to generate personalized astrological interpretations. All calculations are performed automatically, without human participation.

Your data (date, time, place of birth) is transmitted to OpenAI Inc. (USA) through a secure API connection exclusively for generating interpretations. In accordance with OpenAI's policy for corporate API (https://openai.com/enterprise-privacy), data transmitted through the API is not used for training or improving their models.

10. Advertising and Tracking

The application DOES NOT use advertising and does not collect data for targeted advertising. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android) and do not transfer data to advertising networks.

11. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

We use the following third-party services to ensure the application's operation:

• Tencent Cloud (Frankfurt, Germany) — main storage of user data on EU servers;
• Firebase (Google LLC, USA) — analytics, authentication, and data storage;
• Sentry (Functional Software Inc., USA) — error and stability monitoring;
• Amplitude (Amplitude Inc., USA) — application usage analysis;
• OpenAI API (OpenAI Inc., USA) — generation of AI interpretations (data not used for training models);
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — free geocoding service for converting city names to coordinates (only the place name is transmitted for search);
• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In — registration and authentication.

All third-party services comply with international data protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Data transfer to the USA is carried out based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and other mechanisms approved by the European Commission.

12. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The date of the last update is always indicated at the beginning of the document.

We will notify you of significant changes through the application or by email (if you provided it during registration). By continuing to use the application after the changes come into effect, you agree to the new version of the Policy.

Astralis Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Astralis application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree — do not use the application.

2. Service Description

Astralis provides users with astrological services:

3. Registration and Access

Using the application requires registration through Apple ID or Google account. The user is responsible for the security of their credentials and device confidentiality.

4. In-App Purchases

Some application features may be available as consumable in-app purchases. Payment terms and purchase costs are specified in the application interface and are regulated by App Store and Google Play rules.

All transactions are processed through Apple and Google payment systems. We do not store your payment card data. For purchase validation, we receive encrypted receipts from Apple/Google, which are stored on our servers to prevent fraud and ensure proper purchase operation.

Refund policy is governed by the rules of the respective app stores (App Store, Google Play).

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All materials, including texts, graphics, design, algorithms, and AI interpretations, are the property of Astralis LLC. The user is granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the application for personal purposes. Copying, distribution, or modification of content without written permission is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

The application and all content are provided as is (AS IS). Astralis is not responsible for:

• interpretations made by the user based on application information;
• decisions made based on astrological forecasts;
• temporary failures, errors, data loss, or technical problems.

7. Termination of Use

You can stop using the application at any time. We may suspend or delete your account if you violate the terms of use or attempt to hack the system.

8. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Wyoming, USA. All disputes are resolved in the courts of that state.
